Biography



Robert Garner gained his MA and PhD from the University of Manchester. His PhD thesis was on Labour Party ideology. He has worked at the Universities of Buckingham, Exeter and Leicester. He was awarded a Chair in Politics at the University of Leicester in 2006.
Robert’s passions are (in no particular order!) animal rights, politics, Leicester City Football Club and The Waterboys.
